| The Gospel Bracelet [back to top] |
| |

 |
Make a Gospel Bracelet for yourself to remind you of what your God and Savior, Jesus Christ, did for you, or make one for a loved one, in hopes that she may believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works , so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8, 9).
On the left are three versions of the bracelet. You could copy one of these or create your own version.
Whether you make one for yourself or someone else, be sure to print out the Gospel Bracelet Booklet sheet and fold it into a booklet. It details what each color in the bracelet stands for.
If you would rather have us make it, please click here: Ordering Information.

Beading Tips [back to top]
Below are some tips and tricks that can help improve you beading skills. |
 |
When beading a piece of jewelry that involves using crimp beads, string on a small, smooth bead after the crimp bead and before the clasp piece. Doing so will keep the sharp edge of the crimp bead from rubbing on and possibly breaking the wire or other stringing material. See picture to left: |
If you really don't like the look of a crimp bead on the ends of your work, take a 4,5 or 6mm smooth bead (Sterling, gold etc) with a large hole, and string it on. It slides right over the crimp. Then continue with your project, and put another large hole bead at the other end, add your crimp and WHALA! (This will also give you a little moveability in your piece). You can also get creative with your crimp covers using Bali and other beads with large holes!

When beading with some larger holed beads, in order to keep them from being sloppy, insert a piece of liquid silver or gold in the hole, maybe even 2 depending on the size of the bead (length) and this will keep the bead from spinning around and being sloppy. Works great every time. If the hole is large enough, you can also use a bugle bead the same way.

Stretched out with Stretch Magic??
So you've worked with Stretch Magic - it's great stringing material that requires no clasp, just a square knot (shown on the back of the Stretch Magic package we sell at the stores).
Overtime of sliding your bracelet (or necklaces too!) on and off, you might get a bit of slack develop.
To restore stretchiness to Stretch Magic jewelry, dip it in boiling water for two seconds. |
